Johan has founded and grown six IT, internet, and telecom companies since 1995. He began developing the proprietary software that is now Turnium’s SD-WAN platform in 2009. Johan studied Computer Science at Simon Fraser University and left after two years to become an entrepreneur and continue the IT Consulting work that he had started in high school. In 1999, Johan received the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC). In 2009, Johan also started Rocket Networks, an Internet Service Provider business, and sold it to TeliPhone Navigata in 2014.

Jim Lovie has over 30 years of experience in the technology and communications sectors. He has held senior executive roles with Xerox, Bell Canada, and most recently, with Rogers Communications. Jim’s expertise in Sales, Service and Distribution have allowed him to support the growth of these corporations. Jim is very community minded and has participated on the board of Southlake Regional Hospital for 12 years and was the Chair of the Southlake Foundation.

Geoff has been involved in the internet and telecom industries since 1994. He has grown new business units, products, and sales at companies including Telus, Sporg.com, Talemetry, Bell Canada, Allstream, and Urbanfibre.

Konstantin has over 16 years of finance and accounting experience, including corporate compliance, accounting and financial management, initial public offerings and reverse takeovers, providing corporate finance, valuation, taxation, financial reporting, consulting and other accounting services to both small businesses as well as public companies.

Josh is Turnium’s VP of Product and Development and has 9 years of experience in the SD-WAN space. Previously, he lead a cloud infrastructure implementation team at Microsoft working with Fortune 500 companies, managed data center and infrastructure implementations at Abgenix Biopharma (now Amgen), and project managed campus-wide technology initiatives at Simon Fraser University.

Roger has over 8 years of experience selling and supporting solutions for SD-WAN deployments. In prior roles, he spent over 20 years at Apple and IBM selling and designing solutions for the Big 4 accounts: Banks, Healthcare, Provincial and Federal Government.

Graduated in Engineering, in his native Dublin, Nicky took on a wide and varied career from TV broadcasting to fiber and satellite system, from TDM to IP, and from support, project management, and sales engineering in three countries on two continents. Most recently, he had a 20-year career at Cisco Systems working on most of the solution sets Cisco offers and with some of the largest enterprises in the world, alongside partners and service providers. Following Cisco, Nicky was a co-founder and COO of Turnium, building up the SD-WAN as a Service offering in the Canadian market. Nicky, in his spare time, is an avid Liverpool FC fan and loves to ride bicycles and motorbikes whenever he can, alongside many other hobbies and volunteering.

Arturo has been a leader in Sales & Recruitment for the last 15 years of his career. He’s worked for and represented several Fortune 500 Companies such as LEDCOR, Yellow Pages & Business Objects (now SAP) where he’s been integral in developing, leading, and recruiting sales teams. Arturo’s alter ego “DJ Buddha Sax” has been a Vancity staple in the nightlife scene for the past 20 years.

Remi is a seasoned manager with a strong background in technology and technology Sales. He has more than thirty years’ experience in the Telecom and IT industry and has held different management role in Sales and General Management in Canada, Europe, and Asia for a number of multinationals including Newbridge Networks and Alcatel where he was GM of the Carrier Division in Thailand. Before joining Turnium, Remi was an entrepreneur, running a company in Thailand offering IT solutions for SMEs and Enterprises. He has lived in Asia for more than 20 years and brings extensive business experience in the region.

Ralph co-founded Focus Merchant Group in September 2018 and has more than 22 years experience in senior positions at major domestic, international, and boutique investment firms. He was a top-ranked research analyst, well regarded for the depth and breadth of knowledge of Canadian technology, gaming and industrial companies across a broad range of market capitalizations. Over the years, he has received top three rankings from Brendan Woods, Greenwich, Starmine and Thomson Reuters surveys.

Before becoming a sell-side analyst, Ralph was a research engineer for Bombardier Aerospace, and a business unit manager for Michigan-based LMS North America, managingsales, marketing, and servicess. He holds a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Engineering Science (Aerospace) from the University of Toronto and an M.B.A. (Honours) from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Ralph is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). He currently serves as a Director on the board of TSX-listed Converge Technology Solutions, TSXV-listed Edgewater Wireless Systems, and TSX-V listed Spitfyre Capital.

Erin Campbell, ICD.D has over 25 years as an entrepreneur and business advisor experience with board and corporate governance in growth and rapidly evolving technology and industrial companies. Erin has led financing, corporate transactions, re-structuring, M&A for private and public companies operating in Canada and US. Erin is the founding partner of Moneta Partners, an organization providing capital markets and corporate finance advisory services.

Peter Smyrniotis is a founder, operator, and board-level executive adept in launching high-growth disruptive companies, shipping new products to market, building teams and revenue through growth stages (Seed to Liquidity). He has extensive experience in corporate governance and fundraising. He is also currently a director with Victory Square Technologies, Spark Real Estate Software, and CoPilot AI.

Derek is a 38-year veteran of the Canadian tech space, having founded and lead publicly and privately firms in the mobile, IoT and Analytics market segments (PCS Wireless, Intrinsyc, Mobidia), as well as being a board member and angel/seed investor in many other tech firms. He has engaged in the VC community with board, advisory, and partnership positions (BC Discovery Fund, BC Advantage Fund, Quorum Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, ScaleUP Ventures). Derek has always taken a strong interest in the non-profit side of the tech community as a board member of AceTech, Wavefront, WinBC, DigiBC, and Vancouver Enterprise Forum. Derek has personally funded Science World’s Scientist in Residence Program, and Earth Justice. He has an Electrical Engineering degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
